Alyse is a Central Valley native, competing in volleyball, track + field, and cross country at Clovis West High School. She continued on to Fresno Pacific University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science as well as a minor in Psychology. Here, she developed a passion for the human body, movement, and sport performance. Her passion for rehabilitation and interest in the athletic population grew as she got the opportunity to intern and work alongside Steve Sobonya, founder of Progressive Sports Conditioning.
Alyse went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Athletic Training at Shenandoah University. During her dual degree program, she experienced a wide variety of clinical settings but continued to have a specialized interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports. She had the unique opportunity to gain mentorship, knowledge, and experience during her clinicals at UCLA, Cuirim Sports Recovery, and Texas A&M.
Now licensed as a physical therapist and certified as an athletic trainer, Alyse is ready to help athletes and active individuals of all ages reach their goals and get back to the areas that matter most to them. She is proactive in guiding and empowering her patients through education, and enjoys utilizing her knowledge from the program along with her own training as an athlete to individualize and enhance patient performance.
